Trisha is the owner of The Resistance Movement, a boutique fitness studio located just across the street from the Creator’s Space. She has been involved in dance and fitness from a young age. Trisha is an aerialist specializing in silks, hammock, lyra and trapeze. After taking her first aerial class, her passion for dance, movement and expression were immediately reignited. It was love at first lyra! This began her journey to find methods of training that supported her need gain strength, stamina and flexibility. Frustrated with the rigidity of traditional fitness classes and their one dimensional focus, she sought more. She began taking bodyART® and Pilates classes to enhance her training by increasing muscle control and body awareness. Over time, she realized the benefits of this training extended beyond the gym and into the challenges of everyday life.
She developed all of the original programming at The Resistance Movement, where she teaches Pilates chair and mat, aerial bungee, dance cardio, barre and multiple forms of bodyART®. She also conducts trainings and certifies instructors in this methodology.
